Modernisation of signalling systems in Latvia
  INGENO Europrojekte GmbH strengthens its presence in the Eastern European region: Alcatel SEL AG Stuttgart has entrusted the company with the implementation planning for signalling systems and underground cabling on the railway link between the Belorussian border near Indra and Ventspils, Latvia’s major port. In addition, INGENO Europrojekte GmbH has been awarded the order to manage and monitor the surveying works, as part of the basic analysis, on the so-called east-west corridor. (more)

Death of Sudanese Vice-President will not affect Railway Project
  John Garang, Sudanese vice-president and president of the autonomous government of Southern Sudan, was killed in a helicopter crash at the end of July. Last week, his successor Salva Kiir, longtime chief of staff of Sudan’s People Liberation Army (SPLA), was inaugurated. The personnel changes at the top political level of Sudan are not expected to affect the start of the works on the railway project by the INGENO Group. (more)

Asian growth market opens up new business opportunities for the INGENO Group
  As a member of the economic delegation of the Land Brandenburg, Jens Flachsbarth travelled one week through China and Vietnam. Headed by Brandenburg’s Minister President Matthias Platzeck and Minister of Economic Affairs, Ulrich Junghans, the delegation members met not only with other businessmen, but also with high political officials. Lorry toll increases attractiveness of rail transport
  The lorry toll has been successfully introduced and may now be followed by a city or car toll. Manfred Angel, CEO of the INGENO Group, welcomes these political signals: he believes that a consistent shift from road transport to more environmentally friendly rail transport is dependent on fair competition conditions. Historic Peace Treaty in Southern Sudan
  On January 9, 2005, representatives of Sudan’s government and the Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) signed a peace agreement, which puts an end to the 21-year old civil war in southern Sudan. It also creates the preconditions for the construction of the new railway network, for which INGENO Europrojekte will carry out the overall planning. (more)

  Distinguished visitors at the INGENO Group in Berlin: Kenyan government officials spent four days in the Federal capital to discuss Kenya’s participation in the planned railway network in East Africa. (more)

INGENO founds firm in Poland
  The INGENO Group, under the management of Dipl.-Ing. Jens Flachsbarth and Dipl.-Ing. Manfred Angel, has founded the engineering company INGENO CONSULT BPK in Stettin, Poland, together with Przemyslaw Jan Budnik, an experienced project manager in railway and industrial construction. (more)

ABS Hamburg–Berlin
One of the busiest lines in Germany, Berlin – Spandau West – Hamburg Central Station has a total length of 283 km and 21 stations. INGENO Europrojekte GmbH has been entrusted with the technical equipment planning for upgrading the line to a speed of 230 kph.
